Rasoi (Kitchen in Hindi) is an invitation to the kitchen of India’s first Michelin-starred chef, Vineet Bhatia. A respect for tradition and the flavours of India have always been at the core of his cooking. Embracing modern techniques and myriad international influences we endeavour to create new ways to flavour, present and reconsider Indian cuisine.
Chef Vineet Bhatia created history by becoming the first British-Indian chef to win a Michelin Star in 2001 in 102 years of the guide’s history.
Known as the ‘Father’ of modern Indian, he has blazed a trail across the global culinary firmament, re-thinking the cuisine and elevating it to an epicurean experience, adding his own unique twist, while maintaining the core values and the respect for traditions.
In June 2004 he set up ‘Rasoi by Vineet’ in the heart of Chelsea, London along with his wife and business partner, Rashima. Awarded a Michelin Star for the second time here in 2006, he created history yet again in 2010 by becoming the First British-Indian Chef outside of the UK to win one for Rasoi Geneva. Rasoi now exists in Geneva, Bahrain, Jeddah and Abu Dhabi.
